thats the fun fact! you don't need to wear their products to enter. But they send you a goodie bag if you win. I've always wanted to try their stuff but it is a bit expensive

Yeah, I thought it looked like it might be fun to try, but I'm a lifelong avoider of makeup (except on Halloween!) and I usually feel a lot more self-conscious when I'm wearing it. I would try some nice makeup for a mermaid photoshoot perhaps, but it's so danged expensive. However, if I got lucky enough to score some for free, I would give it a try. Anyway, you are gorgeous and I love your tail! It's definitely in my favorite colors :)

Wow that is really something beautiful! Our society teaches young girls so often that they are only beautiful with make up and that makes me sad. I've always been a promoter of inner beauty. I do wear very minimal make up but yes having a touch more for photo shoots does make it the eyes have a better 'pop.' I guess it comes down to what makes YOU feel stronger and more beautiful =] thanks for the compliment and the like I really love your tail as well! Its amazing how finfolk has come along =]

Thank you! I love my tail! Yes, I have always been a strong promoter of inner beauty as well. I mean, it's all well and good if you want to have fun with makeup, but I hate it when society convinces girls (at increasingly young ages) that they NEED makeup (or or certain clothes or hairstyles or whatever) to look good. Can't we all just be beautiful because we are who we are?
