has anyone been here before? from looking at the site, it's got really clear water and is a campground/scuba, swimming and snorkel site. my friend and i were thinking about going there, but i don't know if they'd let me swim in my tail. not that that's a necessary thing, but it'd be awesome.
anyone know anything about it?

I've been twice! Yeah, the water's super clear. Mermaids can swim in tails, at their own risk of course. There's no lifeguard on duty there.
Are you SCUBA certified? It's a pretty neat place to go diving (although it's the only place I've ever dove, so I may be biased haha).

Yeaaah girl! Tail swimming is really great there because of the clarity, but it is pretty deep. The closest thing to the surface was the car about 20-ish feet down. I'm no freediver, but I swam down to it in my tail and then had to turn right back around to surface for air. BUT the site is GREAT for camping and swimming, and there's some pretty cool stuff in the area for hiking as well. A really great and creepy abandoned trailer park, broken railroad bridge, etc.
It also looks like Hyli went to Lake Rawlings recently. She posted something on her Facebook page about it the other day.
