What do you think? I'm way behind on the show, so lets try to stick to just discussing the tail!
Personally, I don't care for it. I would understand them wanting to deviate away from the classic Ariel tail, but at the same time, I wouldn't guess that was Ariel at all if I just had to go by her fins.

Something about the shape makes it seem like Ariel will be a not-so-nice character. It looks like it could stab someone. I'm not really a fan of the color either.

actually is a combination of CGI and an actual prosthetic tail.
the video doesnt actually do it justice but if you watch closely you can see that the only CGI is to make the tail appear longer. the fin at the end is as real as it can get

BTW, I loved the tail! So sleek, and I liked the wide, more cetacean like shape of the fin, with the spikes. Woo hoo :)

I love how she waves the fork in the air before diving off. I haven't seen one episode of this series but now that theres gonna be a mermaid... I'm gonna watch them all :p

not big on her tail not being blue, but the red hair and the stolen fork gave it away. I don't mind the CGI or the shape of the fluke, but for me and my area, I'm a stickler about her tail being green because all the Disney shops around here show her tail being blue
