Which tail design should I make?

Hey guys, here are few tails I drew up. Some, completely original and others, inspired by tails I have seen and loved.
I am going to start on my first full silicone tail, and I dunno which one I want to make first, so I figure I'd ask you. :)

1) h2o/Aquamarine inspired tail
2) Gold Koi
3) Ariel Tail
4) Dolphin Tail (this one is completely smooth, so I really don't want to start with this one, but I figured I'd post it anyway)


5) Dragon Inspired Tail

Wow! They all look beautiful:) Any of them would look perfect, but something about the first it really unique and beautiful. I also really love the colors of the first one.

I LOVE the Ariel one. The part around the waist is too cute. And I really like the shark/ dolphin one, even if you don't want to start off with it, it's probably the coolest! I love the realistic touch. That ariel one tho <3

I'm also in the midst of of drawing up a tail inspired by the classic black and white mermaid movie "Mr Peabody and the Mermaid". I love the fishy looking fluke. And it was also one of my favorite movies growing up. :)

I'm a fan of the dragon and koi. Dragon is definitely my favorite... the colors are unique and it kind of reminds me of something prehistoric like a dimitridon. :)

I dig the koi one as well because im looking forward ti trying out different methods in getting the whisker/tendril things made. But because of that (damn my thinking out loud:doh:) I might want to wait on that one as well. Just until I'm more comfortable with the silicone)

...Dragons winning. The more i look at the fluke, I think I might change it just a smidge. Try to make it a little easier to sculpt. ;)

I like all of them for different reasons...screw it I'm gonna make em all and combine it into one big Frank-n-fin! :lol: LOL

I like the colors of the dragon one, but I like the flukes on the Koi and h2o style tail. Those are my 3 favs.

Those are my 3 favs. Well, you could put the colors of the dragon tail onto the outline of either Koi or h2o, just to see how it looks. I would keep in mind it might be difficult to get a monofin into the Koi fluke, because it is split up so high. Then again, if you're only using a small monofin like a foil, it might fit--whereas it looks like the h2o could fit a really big monofin like a competitor. It really depends on what you want in your fluke.

Yeah, I was gonna figure that out this week when I got my new monofin,(tracing out different patterns & figuring out where to cut) but then the ignition went on the car...ugh priorities. GRRRR!!!

Guess the monofin will wait another week. :(
