Shello!!! My name is Mermaid Angel Starfish, and I live in glorious San Diego, CA!!! I know I joined about a week ago, but I would like to get to know y’all!!! A few things about me:



I can be extremely random at times.
I am Goth. Not an extreme Goth, but more of a baby soft Goth.
I am an avid blogger. Check out my links below!!!
I tend to get excited of the tiniest things.
I LOVE to write- I’m working on writing at least a dozen books, and I also have a 8 GB flashdrive that is close to exploding with all my books and ideas.
I have a GIANT of a dog named Sam.
I love arts and crafts.
I am the proud owner of a small Etsy business.
I am a sophomore in college.
I am legally blind in the left sides of both eyes.
I was a cheerleader and a theater kid in high school.
I was also a techie (someone who works behind the scenes).
Chocolate and musical shows are my weaknesses.
I dream of being on Broadway one day.
I am a 4 ½ octave range mezzo-soprano/ soprano belter.
I never leave my cave without at least five or six books in hand.
I am 85% Deaf in one ear and 65% Deaf in the other ear.
I am addicted to bubble gum.
I am a total wuss whenever it comes to pain.
I have horrid allergies to seafood, bees, wasps, poison ivy, poison oak, peanut oil, mint and peppermint.
I’m never fully awake in the morning unless I have my hot chocolate.
I am the world’s biggest Disney nut.
I love listening to Jackie Evancho and Sarah Brightman.
I can’t spell my way out of a paper bag- and my spelling is atrocious. But I do enjoy long words whenever possible.
My nickname down at the range is “The 21st Century Annie Oakley”.
I am a classically trained singer who enjoys singing musical theater and opera with a slice of pop on the side.
I broke my shoulder, my leg, my arm, my wrists, my back, fracture my skull and I aso tore up the cartilage in both knees. (Not all at once though!!!)
My best friend’s name is Mike.
My favorite holidays, in no particular order are Christmas, Halloween and Cinco de Mayo.
I survive on lists.

Welcome! LOL I think we'd get along just fine - I adore Sarah Brightman, and Jackie Evancho is just a divine singer :) I think it's impressive you have such a range while being partially deaf! My choir got to perform with the choir from a local School for the Deaf and Blind, and that was one of the highlights of my High School singing career <3 I don't know exactly what my range is, as I don't read music very well (despite being in choir all through school), but I know I can sing well enough in alto - soprano, my director loved to put me wherever I was needed, and I managed to land the part of Sister Margaretta in our production of The Sound of Music my senior year, that was so awesome to me!

I also have dreams of being on Broadway, but I think my lack of post-high-school training and also my skin condition probably mean I won't be singing, so I'd be happy with being a costume designer/handler/whatever for Broadway one day, because I loooove making costumes :) I hope you get to sing on Broadway, that would be so awesome!

And, if we ever get to meet, I will make you some of my chocolates <3
