How to order neoprene from foamorder?

I'm looking into buying .5-1.5mm neoprene from foam order, but I have no idea what I'm looking for. I know I need nylon, double sided, right? But then what's all this about sheets and off the roll?

Does it come in sheets? Am I able to get them not in sheets? Will my tail have to be pieced together instead of seamless (lengthwise, hip to fluke)?

If you call and talk with FoamOrder, they are really helpful, and will explain what you need to know. But basically if you need longer than sheets at 80-82 inches they will cut it off a roll
(they are 50 inches wide). It all depends on whether you want your flukes to be part of the tail, and how wide they are. I would take graph paper and make a chart of how you lay it out so you only buy what you need. You might be able to offset the tail portion and with the flukes at opposite ends, having only to jog over the tail. You'd end up with a back and front, and side seams. I would plan a front and back separate anyway, because we are not symmetrical. Look at a pair of jeans and you will see the fronts and backs are different. You may consider using a seam for your flukes, hidden where the ankle crease would be anyway and that would give you more flexibility in layout.
