Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace my old boiler and I'm considering British Gas for the installation. Before I make any decisions, I wanted to ask the community if anyone has recently had a new boiler installed by them.

Can you share how much it cost, including the boiler model, installation fees, and any additional charges? Also, how was your experience with the service and the overall process?

Any advice or tips on what to expect would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I recently had a new boiler installed by British Gas. I chose the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i. The total cost, including the boiler, installation, and a 10-year warranty, was around £3,500. The installation was completed in one day, and the engineer was very professional. In terms of new boiler cost from British Gas (https://londoncityplumbers.co.uk/boiler-advice-and-cost/new-boiler-cost-from-british-gas/), the price was reasonable considering the quality of service and the warranty provided. I didn’t encounter any hidden fees, but extra charges might apply if additional work like pipe adjustments is needed. Overall, I had a positive experience with the service. I'd suggest getting a couple of quotes to compare, as they sometimes have promotions available.
