Just copied and pasted the article from yahoo;http://news.yahoo.com/shark-subway-train-nyc-172855355.html There are pictures on the site A dead shark was spotted on a New York City subway car early Wednesday, shocking and delighting even the most hardened New Yorkers.

The one-and-a-half foot shark was first found on the floor of the the Queens-bound N train as it traveled through Manhattan.

Some straphangers snapped photos while others theorized it could be a marketing stunt for Discovery's "Shark Week" going on this week.

“I walk in, and there’s a pretty big, three foot dead shark on the train, and it smells terrible!” Brandon Sanchez, an NYU student who boarded the train at Canal Street, told the New York Post (http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/sharknado_makes_early_debut_bound_dlwU9ZsQWcrvBe2J 2d533K). “We were pretty much in disbelief, and kept laughing. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on the subway in New York!”

Sanchez added: “I don't think someone killed it and put it there. I think somebody probably bought it and left it there as a prank.”

Isvett Verde told the paper she was initially shocked when she spotted the shark after boarding the train on 8th Street.

"I looked around, and there was a dead shark in the car," Verde said. "I was like, 'Of course, there's a dead shark in the car!'"

"We added a MetroCard under its fin, just in case it needed to transfer," Juan D. Cano, who snapped 75 photos of the dead shark with various props, told Gothamist.com (http://gothamist.com/2013/08/07/weekend_at_bernies_subway_shark.php#photo-1). "I do think it's disrespectful to do certain things to dead shark corpses. But adding a MetroCard under its fin is not disrespectful."

A spokesman for the city's Metro Transit Authority confirmed the subway shark sighting. The fish was removed by an MTA worker after the train reached its final destination
