Heey Mermaids,

I was gone from the forum for a few months, but I graduated!! and I went on vakantion to Italy. I wanted to start making my silicone tail but there was a little problem. I went for my checkup to the dokter and she said that I can have an operation for my legs wich makes them straight and I won't have pain in my knees. But the operation can only be done when I'm 21 because there is a little chance that I'll grow. (I'm 16 now). Because they will set my legs straight I will be 2 cm taller and my legs get a diffrent shape.

So, I am waiting until I'm 21 to get a silicone tail. Maby I will have the money to buy one instead of making one. I don't want to make an expensive tail that might be to small in a few years. For now I will make a spandex or neoprene tail with painting. I still want a silicone tail but I think this is the best for now.

I'm glad you are going to be able to get corrective surgery! I hope it all goes well! In the meantime, fabric tails can be just as beautiful and wonderful without the complications of investing in a tail that might not fit afterwards.

Just think, you have a few years to save up and get an absolutely incredible tail!!!
