Hi all,

I haven't had it for long, but due to wanting to save for a silicone tail and the fact that my mertender had way less time to assist me than previously thought, I'm selling my Shelly parrotfish tail. It's beautifully constructed and has minimal wear and tear on it. I'm selling it for $500 + shipping. It has a Rapid built in to it. I would recommend a shoe size 9 or a little bigger. The waist is 28", hips 38" (it could fit someone smaller there), and waist to ankle is about 41," although it could fit someone taller. It's a cool, cool tail! It's got a little dirt on it from a shoot, but it will come out in the water.

Could you post a picture of it, please?

:(
unless you really need that 500 bucks, you could consider keeping the tail until your silicone one is finished.

...and by that rate, I'll be the last mer left stubbornly refusing to buy a silicone tail in a few years :p

Unfortunately, being an adult sucks and Bar exams are $500 to take as well. To be honest, for portability's sake, I'd probably be better off with a fabric tail.

i also don't think neoprene is really my thing >.>

Why is neoprene not your thing?
Too much buoyancy?

At least it is very pretty.
Actually, it looks so good I thought it WAS silicone...

The neoprene is harsh on my knuckles when I put it on XD

Aww, that sucks, I really love your tail! But I get it if neoprene's not your thing :P If I had the money right now I would totally snatch that up from you, it's so colourful and pretty and I've loved it since I saw it :)

I do hope to eventually have a neoprene tail some day, my plans are to have a few fabric tails, a silicone, and a couple in-between :P

Varshana, I have a question- Is that an uncut competitor monofin in there, or am I just seeing things?

Hi there, I love your tail. Infact it is my dream tail. I love neoprene and that tail is perfect. Is it still for sale.

Fifi from Busselton mermaids may be interested in this, she has a thread you should post this on "re-homed tails for Busselton mermaids"

Do you have a video of you swimming with the tail?
A friend of mine would be interested in buying it.
Than you :)

Last time the seller posted on this thread was back in august last year! It's a nice tail but I would assume long sold by now!!

As an owner of a Shell Labs Tail I can vouch that these are awesome.

This is me swimming in mine. Sorry for the poor quality of the video BTW.

Annwyn you look fantastic in that :eyepop: And it's so close to your skin colour you can't see where tail ends and you begin! Lovely!<3

This tail is absolutely beautiful. Totally unique, if it were still for sale I'd definitely go for it<3
