I'm assuming MOST of you are from Earth, but you never know! (Ok, I am positive there are no aliens, just couldn't resist! :P )

So, uhhh, hi!
I should have said hello earlier, but, I sort of forgot to. :$
So, I guess my mer name is Alitheia, which means truth in Greek, and my name happens to mean truth and noble. Conveniently enough, they can both be shortened to the same nickname, go figure.

I don't know how long I've wanted to be a mermaid, and now I just need to make my tail. XD but, when I was little I didn't. I wanted to be half spider unlike most little girls, something like a black widow or a tarantula like Rosey, who I held when I was seven. I liked dangerous poisonous things and still do. But when I was twelve I got an obsession with lionfish, and, yep. Here I am, and that's my story.

Now I'm going to make a tigerfish inspired tail, I'd show you my sketch, but I don't know how to upload pictures yet.

welcome!

you know if each grain of sand of all the beaches and deserts of the Earth would represent a star, that'd still be a lot less stars than are in the universe?
Scientists by now are convinced life came to Earth from elsewhere anywhere, because the elements which comprise life are incredibly rare on Earth and abundant elsewhere, for example in meteors :p

that would make all life on Earth aliens, in a way.

Anyways, have fun on mernetwork.
Are you from Greece, or did you choose your mername for other reasons?

I'm inclined to believe scientists are wrong, it would be against my religion to believe in evolution. But, that's me.

No, I am related to someone from Greece though an Anthont. But, I kind of just love Greek mythology, food, there different spellings of words, stuff like that.

Thank you for the welcome!

Welcome, welcome, welcome! Maybe if we ask politely, we can get Aeolius to sound his triton's horn to welcome you! (Though maybe that would scare you away...) It is awesome that you like spiders like that! I refused to take biology in high school, because the biology lab had a tarantula in it, and I would absolutely freak out if I saw it move! (I am an arachnephobe of long standing, in case you hadn't guessed!) Looking forward to seeing your tail ideas, and chatting with you! :)

I was just weird that way. :P Snakes, spiders, all those creepy crawlies. XD (But not wasps, I'm afraid of wasps. :O )

It will be my first tail! I can't wait to make it!

Welcome! :D I love that fluke!

Also.. *coughcough* I'm pretty sure there *are* aliens... Because, well, my man and I saw a real live UFO up kind of close a few months ago... So who knows, maybe some of us *are* aliens? :P
