That's cute! I've done similar things for the Coney Island Mermaid Parade. Only problem is that you can't sit down!

That is an awesome skirt! XD But yes, then you have to stand all the time?

If it was done like a hoop skirt you could sit, on stuff like stools only though.... (And I would know.)

This beautiful Mer is our own SINicallyTwisted! She makes her own tails, including SteamPunk designs. I know she has several cons to attend so was really busy. Glad you got a shot of her skirt, its really unique! Her Steampunk tail is awesome, but she has a mertender that wheels her in a vintage four-legged chair with casters attached!

Glad you got a pix of her Daphne!

LOL! Why yes, that is me! And yes I was in fact able to squat down so the little ones could hug me. I've been terribly busy since I've been back home, so I haven't really had much of a chance to locate any pics/vids/interviews/podcasts & TV filming from this event. I'm sure if you search around, you'll find ones of me squatting down. If you do, please let me know. I would so love to see them! XD

My next con appearance is at GraniteCon in Manchester, NH (Sept. 28th & 29th) and I will be debuting a brand new mermaid there! I would love to meet some of you if you can make it! <3 ;)

Well awww I didn't know you were part of Mernetwork! I woulda stayed longer and chatted... Your booth was super busy when we passed. The art was neat, did you do those?

I did see film crews there, though there was a lot of photo bombing going on. A reporter even got jumped by a guy in a jaws shirt and superman cape. And boxers.

Hope someone got a shot of your steampunk tail. I love the look and feel of that genre; bet it looks awesome!

This was sent to me and I wanted to share it. Not only can I stand in my skirt but I can also squat down too! I have to squat down & prop one of my knees up to make it look like that! I can also sit completely down but I don't feel that it gives off the best effect so yeah I just squat down mostly. It's a hell of an ab workout going up and down all day! Yoga does wonders! LOL ;)

Yup part of MerNetwork although rather new. I joined not that long ago.
Yes the art is also a creation of mine. I take characters from all areas and turn them into mermaids. ;)

They were doing filming for the AMC show Comic Book Men. I was filmed both days. I don't know what episode I'll be on or when it will air but it was pretty cool!

Oh yes, lots of photobombing! I was photobombed by one of the Deadpools that was running around! LOL

There were tons of pics taken over the weekend so I'm sure there will be pics popping up online eventually. If you would like to see pics, please feel free to check out the album I have here.
