Hi everyone! My name's Stephanie, and if I ever get around to doing this professionally.. you can call me Mizu lol. I love mermaids, and always have loved anything to do with the fantasy world to be honest. I grew up in the rivers and lakes of the Georgia mountains and currently live in Tennessee. I'll keep my introduction short though and save everyone from the long boring details of my life lol. I just wanted to make a quick introduction here so I can get to know everyone on the forum. I hope to find lots of friends, advice and ​further educate myself on the life of a mermaid.

Welcome to the 'network, Mizu! Whereabout in TN do you live? I used to live there when I was young, near Fayetteville I think. I remember my Mom having to drive to another state sometimes to get "health food" back in the early 90's before it got wide-spread, LOL!

I don't have a tail yet btw. I'm saving up for one. I want one from Merbella Studios. I bet you can guess what "theme" of tail I want. -points at avatar- lol I love Koi and goldfish.

I think that would be an awesome tail! :D I just love Merbellas' work. And also Finfolk's. (They just came out with a lionfish tail in similar colours as koi, so it reminded me of it...)

Your avatar is one of lots of mermaid artwork I really draw inspiration from... When I saw her hair, I was just so tickled, because that's the exact hairstyle I want to have, especially as a mermaid! My hair is nowhere near that long yet, but I am finally able to make double buns without it looking super-silly... I'm hoping to be able to do full-blown odango pigtails by my birthday next year!
