I am trying to make my own weight belt. I was wondering is anyone could offer any tips and advice?
I would buy one but i can't afford the shipping from overseas.

Please help :)

You can buy belts and weights on amazon.
I got mine there, and then mer-ified it by applying nets, shells etc onto it until it was completely covered.

Hey...sorry that this isn't about how to get a weightbelt! but i was curious, do you use the weightbelt to help you stay on the bottom of the pool?
thanks :)

You can use a weight belt if you are having trouble achieving neutral buoyancy (which can be hard to do with a lung full of air, especially if your fins tend to float). I have never used a mermaid tail so I can't tell you how to do it with that, but I have used very small weights for becoming neutrally buoyant when I want to do tricks in the water with fins/a monofin, just enough so that my eyes (and *maybe* my forehead) drop below the water line--any lower and you might have problems rising without effort. Or that's my experience any way... As you let out air, you will sink and can rest on the bottom. You can also just swim to the bottom as you let out air, but that is more work and uses up your air more quickly.
