i really love how floppy it is! and do you think it has enough force to push you through the water? but the biggest question is: does anyone know at all what this is made from?!

She use to have a Etsy shop that sold her tails (EarthSongDesigns). Right now the shops says she's "on vacation". I know Karen (username Dark Celtic Mermaid (http://mernetwork.com/index/member.php?111-Dark-Celtic-Mermaid)) bought one of her tails (seen here (http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/61138_457835104720_618004720_5022287_5271868_n.jpg )). The transactions in her shop (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/20394717) says it is made of "flexible clear plastic". I know "floppy" may be an appeal, but remember the more stiff a monofin is the more propulsion it gives you. In her videos it looks like she is having a bit of trouble with it, IMO.

yeah, i was worried about the propulsion it would give you.

Polycarbonate, most likely. I believe magictail.de uses polycarbonarte in their monofins as well and it has the same effect. Look it up, it's probably what you're looking for ;)
