Hello :)

Hey everyone!
I am a new mermaid and I am so excited to finally be apart of this magical world here on Mernet.
Now a few things about me.. hmm where to begin?

Well I just graduated with a BA in acting and directing in a school in NY. I am currently in Ireland for the next two weeks working at The Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray... and no they don't have much to do with mermaids.. But I wish they did!

I have always loved the sea... and I've found with my asthma swimming is the best exercise for me and Mermaid Raina has inspired me with her book Fishy Business to really start getting involved.

I cannot wait to get my first tail.. I spent most of the summer swimming in a monofin to get the feel and now I am ready to start my journey.

I live in MA but will be moving to NY shortly but I would love to meet mermaids from all over and have meetups!

I want to be able to perform and help educate people on the environment.. though I have no degree in environmental studies I believe no one is ever to small to make a difference.

Hope you aren't moving too quick to NY, we barely have made plans to toss around a meet up for New England/Mass pod! Boston is a minimum of 4 hours-ish from NY border (ha depends on how heavy your flukes are, LOL). Would love to meet you before you move!
