I think we can all agree it's a terrible thing to see a mer have to sell their tail to make ends meet when times get tough. I have no idea how to make this happen, but I think it would be great if somehow we could start an emergency funds account to help those in dire need so they don't have to sell their tails. Or for other mers who are in some kind of serious trouble. Of course there would have to be an application, and some kind of supporting documentation to show what the circumstances are so the help wouldn't be abused.... and of course I know most of us are strapped as is.... but I was just thinking.....
