Alright, I ordered my little cousin (well, she isn't little little... she's twelve) her first monofin from FinFun a few weeks ago. Her mum and I were so excited for it to arrive so we could see how it looked in the new tail we'd ordered--we wanted to make sure everything looked perfect before her birthday party. It fit perfectly and the birthday party went off without a hitch... cue the after party, when my little cousin finally got to try out her new tail and monofin.
She. Absolutely. Hated. The. Monofin.
I guess I spoiled her on my Finis Wave? I wear a Rapid, but when she comes over I let her splash around in my old Wave... This FinFun monofin (I also tried it out, btw) wasn't bad, it has a nice little kick to it... I'd use it! It was just "too floppy," as she put it, for her taste. She loves her new purple tail and is very happy to swim around in it without the mono fin but now she has no interest in her old FinFun tail (from just before the monofins came out, so the fluke is bigger) because "the fluke is shaper cooler" on her new one. She used her old FinFun tail (the one I'm selling) only four times in the water, and twice on land (she didn't get to swim often when she lived in her old house).
I went ahead and gave her my Wave (she was so thrilled, omg... I thought about selling it but am much happier to see it go to her :D), and her mum asked me if anyone on "the mermaid website" I'm always on would be interested in the old tail and monofin. I thought I'd give it a shot. :)
So, in short: I'm selling a Caribbean Sunset Orange, Size 16 (said little cousin is a bigger girl) Mermaid Tail with the FinFun Monofin Pro for $100. If you'd like pictures, I'm happy to post! Everything is in nearly brand new condition.
