Check out Yesa Jewelry! (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yesa-Jewelry/208921319139409) My mom is an artist working in silver and based out of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She has an art degree and has been working with silver for about 4 years now and her shop was just contracted to provide for two Marriott Hotel gift shops in the area. Her designs include precious gems, fresh and salt water pearls, shells, and corals. (She wanted to make sure to tell you that the coral is never harvested from the reef. She only uses what she finds on the beach and in her friend's fishing nets.) I hope to model as a mermaid for her shop and jewelry once I'm established, so her work is definitely mermaid approved!
Here are some pieces made with shell and pearl:

And some other work:

For right now, she just has the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yesa-Jewelry/208921319139409). We're working on getting her website back up and running. If you have any questions, you can post them on the Facebook, here, or message me! Some of the pictures aren't the best quality, but I'm getting her a better camera for the holidays. :p If you want to see the work up close/higher deff, I can take pictures of the things she's made me. Thanks for looking! <3
