I would REALLY like for us Texas mermaids to have some get togethers, so I made a Facebook page for North Texas Mermaids (https://www.facebook.com/pages/North-Texas-Mermaids/433900050064365) (though any Texan mermaid is welcome, or even those from Southern Oklahoma!). I am hoping being on Facebook will make it so that when we plan something, members are more likely to actually see it, rather than counting on the luck of people checking the Texas Pod for updates. So please, if you're interested in North Texas/Central Texas meetups, sign up! I would love to get together with other mers, to swim or just to hang, or maybe to craft merly things!

Hey there! This sounds like so much fun! I've felt so left out not having met any other mers in person yet... lol
I would love to participate in future meetups! I am going to be living in florida for the next four months, because I got into the Disney College Internship program (yay!) but when I get back, I'm totally up for a meetup! :)
