Hello everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with a dog lap day calculator and was wondering if anyone else has used one. The calculator asks for factors like breed, weight, and activity level, but I’m unsure how accurate these values are for determining how many laps my dog should run each day.

Has anyone noticed a significant difference in their dog's energy levels or health after following the suggested lap count? Also, is there a specific formula I should consider for adjusting the number of laps as my dog gets older or more fit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there!
I’ve used a dog lap day calculator before, and while it's a fun tool, I think it’s important to take the results with a grain of salt. The calculator can provide a good starting point, but every dog is unique. Breed, weight, and activity level are good general indicators, but they don’t always account for individual health conditions, age, or temperament. I recommend using the dog lap day calculator (https://yourlapdaycalculator.com/) as a baseline and adjusting it based on your dog’s individual needs. As dogs get older or fitter, you may need to change the number of laps based on their energy levels and overall well-being. Start slow, monitor your dog’s response, and adjust accordingly. Also, always consult your vet if you're unsure about what’s best for your dog’s health!
