Audrey Mestre and her husband used to do some similar shots- really eerie, and deep down, both being record-holding freedivers.

I used to think "wow, they look like merfolk- would be awesome if they wore tails or something instead of normal jeans and clothes".
And that was a long time before I learned mermaiding existed. :)

I find it even more interesting with clothes and the models being able to just "stand" on the bottom. There was a mermaid picture, but I think I like the clothed ones better.
