unfortunately not, the star is a real dried starfish (cruelty free) which if it gets wet, will start to smell terribly, get soggy, and most definitely break apart..crumble even! i am currently working on a latex starfish creation to solve this problem. I'll keep you posted in the classifieds... but until then, all i have are real starfish which are not suitable for water. feel free to check out the accessories for when you are a land-bound mermaid though ;)
