You will never guess who I met at the school where I teach... A fellow mermaid! One of the lovely mer who worked Scarborough Ren Faire in the FinFolk tails is at my school! Someone told someone who told her that I have a mermaid tail and she dropped in to say hello. So awesome! My first time meeting another mer face to face, totally unexpected. Though it goes to show you how far mermaid rumors spread! I only told one if my coworkers and the person who told my fellow mer about me is someone I've never met, lol.

I know she was looking at mernetwork today, but I don't know if she joined--I don't want to say her name or anything in case she doesn't want the attention, but it was really so cool! Just goes to show you never know who might be a mer!

I met a 13 year old mer, in the pool in June. Her family asked how I got to be such a good swimmer and could hold my breath so well and when I told them she freaked out and jumped out of the pool to get her tail from her room. Her mom didn't think it was a good idea though...

why would it be a bad idea? where else can you wear a tail? but i always wanted to meet another mer

HI guys! I'm the fellow mermaid from Seavanna's workplace. I'm a senior, due to graduate soon. I just started mermaiding in the spring at Scarborough, and my tailw as purchased from Finfolk. I'm really glad I joined this network, I had NO idea how much information was on it!!
