My little mer Emily has been recognised in the streets but she had her first official fan contact her via my facebook the other day :D A little girl from California told her she was her inspiration to join the mermaiding world and they chatted for a while about tails, swimming and the difference in time zones and seasons. She is so happy and excited over the whole experience!

aw so cute!!! I first got recognized in of all places, a sex shop. lol I have a rare bladder illness and I found a book there about it and when I went to buy it the cashier knew who I was and yelled "aren't you the mermaid!" and then everyone looked at me... lol

I dont know if I have any fans, but I've had a few people I wouldn't expect to know me go "oh you're that mermaid!" lol! Such as the assitant at the costume shop where I purchased some water-proof spray (maybe the item gave it away to her? haha!).
