Been gone a while but back, lots going on, new art and cancer

I've been busy with projects, pieces for shows and Disney. I was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago and will soon find out what treatment will done...

Just did Miami art festival last week, figured cancer can wait a week for me to do the show... I was so busy and dealing with the bad news,I forgot to post that I was in Miami,in case anyone would have stopped by.

Working on mew projects including some cast glass pieces..

I redid the hand on my octo bracelet, I like the sculptural hand fragment look, like it's been aging on the sea floor and an octo made it it's home. Also did two octo rings.

Did this fairy necklace and mini flash drive holder..may do a mermaid one.So many young people carry their lives on a thumb drive so I figured I can combine art and function.

I guess I don't really know what to say about the cancer. I bet that's really scary. Do you have some sort of support group to talk to about it? It must be nervewracking to not yet know the available options, too. I can't imagine.

These are some pieces I did this year, not mermaids but will be working on some new ones soon. Have some octo goodies though.
Gotta keep creating so I don't dwell... I friends who've been through breast cancer so I do have a support system and the hospital's cancer center has called to offer counceling and groups too.
