How Often Do You Just "Hang Out," In Your Tail?

So, out of curiosity, how often do people just hang out in their tails without being in the water - like on a soft surface, carpet or bed, watching TV, playing a game with someone, chains smoking, lol i.e. whatever it is you do with your "on land" time? I've found myself hanging out in my tail a lot without going to the pool... It is in part because of the weather - it's rainy and cold, and although the pool is heated, I'm not eager to take it into the chlorine that often. I need to get a wetsuit if I'm going to take it to the lake... Anyway, I've found myself just sitting around in my tail watching TV a lot lately and was wondering if anyone else does this... ??

When I would be home alone I'd try it on just for funsies. I get hot in my tail if I'm not in water so it gets bothersome after a while. I haven't tried my tail on in months honestly. But when I first got it, I just like to try it on to see how it looked xD

I've been in my tail pretty often lately. Though it's been hanging out posing for a friend who is in an anatomy course. She doesn't do nudes, so I figured me in tail with my shell top is close to being nude enough for her. So I've been hanging out in one of the drawing/painting studio posing for a painting. Eventually I'll post pictures.

One time some friends came over and I was just sitting on my couch in my tail. We ended up playing board games, and when one of them would try to cheat, I would gently smack them with my fin.

I do this allot since I don't like chlorine on my scales, skin and hair. So I sometimes flip under my bedcovers in my tail relaxing, drawing, painting , watching a movie or playing a game :) or I just put it on to feel more like myself and look at it.

I did this sometimes, with my old fabric tail. And probably trying it with my Merbellas tail tomorrow! Taking some pictures by the christmas tree ;)

And I do this too, btw. Gotta love playing dress up! I have decided to screw cosplaying once I get my FinFolk tail and hit every convention in it just for an excuse to wear it in public!!! I love playing mermaid, and I'm an attention whore: a great combo! But even in private, it's fun. My dogs think I'm a weirdo though!

Haha I wish I could do that! I really want to wear my tail in public for cosplay but my folks won't let me. And I'm afraight i might damage the tail (alot of people walking by and not seeing where they are walking etc.)
