Hey guys!
So I'm wanting to make a seashell top much like the one Ariel has, purple and simple. I have the shells, but I am completely at a loss as to how to attach them to the bra. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. ^.^ It's my first time making a mermaid top, so I hope it'll turn out alright!

Thanks much!

I believe a lot of mers use E6000 glue, which can be found at Michael's or Johann's (and probably Hobby Lobby?). Super Glue I think is another one that can be used. Iona knows which is better, I think and if you search around on the right forum subsection you'll find plenty of info :)

read the other posts in this section, a lot of the questions get answered regularly and don't forget to introduce yourself in the introduction threads

also is it going to get wet or not? if it's for dry events your range of what you can use to stick it together with is broader than if you intend to swim in it

I intend to make one for swimming and another pair for dry events. Thanks for the advice!

I would agree E6000, but check the drying color (some dry black some dry clear).
Also marine epoxy is a good adhesive to use on shells.

I use E600 and I sew them down for added insurance. I drill holes in the shells with a masonry bit and use pearls as anchors to stitch them down

you could make a tiny hole in the sea shell, and pass through the sewing pin in and attach it like that
