Stage shows

I see many of you do in the water shows...but have any of you done any shows on a stage with...lets say...a gaggle of pirates? I am trying to think of humorous ideas for a script and am running a bit blank. Suggestions?

I have never done one myself, but I have seen humorous shows with pirates! No mermaids, but you could implement something like she promises a surprise for the pirate that can prove himself worthy and they all compete in humorous contests and when one wins the surprise is something ridiculous? I saw a show similar before and I think it could definitely work with a mergirl. :P

I do a ton of shows with just pirates...it's my main shtick. Actually, I started dressing as a mermaid because I had surgery and couldn't move, and was still contracted to work a few pirate shows. I thought of dressing as a mermaid and sitting in a wooden wheel-barrel as a captive, and it worked perfectly.
I wrote up some concepts for a script yesterday, pretty much me getting kidnapped by handsome pirates (I can be hopeful) and singing obnoxiously until one shoves a dirty sock in my mouth (I sing opera, hehe) and then I trick them into thinking my scales are magic, after they all fight on whether or not they should cook me, sell me, or just murder me, and then I find a way to explode them with black powder. The last line of the show is me remembering that now I have no way to get back to the water....awww crap.
It sounds better when it isn't a giant synopsis of words like that...I swear....lol

I don't generally email out the scripts I write because I am worried about someone using them besides me. I do write scripts and sell them for people to use for shows however.

we do role play acting with pirates for a pirate festival

I do too. In fact, I play pirate more than mermaid. Sometimes festivals want us to do a mermaid show over pirate show, so we have the best of both. I love getting to play with, and be carried around by pirates.
