How can I glue the mono fin in the dragonskin?

I think the silence is due to the fact that no one has found a sure-fire easy way, or if they have, they aren't talking.
One way I've read is to drill holes in the monofin then the 2 layers of silicone will attach through the holes.
Another way involves gluing lace to the monofin, then the silicone will saturate the lace and cure through it.

I would have sworn someone more experienced than me would have replied. I've read the same thing in some of the threads, but I haven't heard what anyone used to glue the lace to the fin.
I plan on drilling through my polycarbonate so the silicone will lock the layers together through the fin. Maybe Jazz, Jessica, or Firemaid can answer your question.
