Has anyone tried this pretty amazing superhydrophobic spray on their tail or accessories yet? I understand drag can be a big problem and it seems like this could help immensely.

That's really interesting! In the comments, people are saying it's not very durable protection. The silicone is already hydrophobic, so it wouldn't make much of a difference with the tails, but I could see it being a nice protective coat for accessories, especially from the harmful effects of chlorine on sea-shells. I might pick up a can and try it!

I've read lots of bad reviews on it. I didn't even know it was available to the public yet.

I was thinking more for fabric/neoprene tails... maybe even just on the fluke. I've seen mixed reviews regarding the durability.
