Short, sweet, and to the point... My mom and I are planning on making either a latex or silicone or maybe even partial tail. And we would really need help from experience! Haha! So, I'm asking you guys a couple things:
1. Could I have a list of materials I would need for any of the tails?
2. Would it be possible to make a clayish mold of my legs and such and then make the scale sheet?
3. What is the best way to paint it, I guess, what is the best paint and method?
4. Which is the best tail to go with, goods and bads of each?
5. And anything else I would need to know?
6. And PS I'm thinking of doing either a lion fish or clownfish, so what is the best way to paint that style?
So thanks, and please reply! :)

You'll have to get/make a translucent monofin, and make the material covering it rather thin.
With additional fins, it depends on what the tail is made of.

For the rest of your questions, it's probably best to read all the tutorials first.

I just don't have any idea for what material should you be using, but just would like to see it when its done
