Re homed Tails for Busselton Mermaids

This New Year Busselton Mermaids is buying old tails to repair and paint for mers of all ages to experience and enjoy! :)
I will buy tails of Fabric, Neoprene and Partial Silicone that will cost no more than $500 including postage to Australia zip code 6280. I will need pictures of the tail and any defects/damage and then I will decide if the tail will join our team :)

I was just asked if I will refurbish and sell the tails that I buy. The answer is no the tails I buy and care for will stay in the Busselton Mermaid home for the remainder of their life and they will be used for people to experience a mermaid life for a few hours all captured on film :)

Fifi what all do you do to the tails? Like do you repaint or repair them also? Also, is this like a rent-a-tail for the day kind of thing? Or is it more of a chairty thing? Maybe a combination of both

Yes if the tails need it I will give a quick repair and paint. I use the tails for my underwater photography and photography but I'm also looking into a fun little swim school for kids and adults :)

I have a mermaids r us basic silicone tail. It's red. It has a few spots where the silicone pulled slightly away from the seam, but it's not noticeable in the water. There is also a spot where I used transparent nylon thread to patch a small hole, but you can only see it if you really look. I don't remember the measurements, but it's the one in my picture.

OMG Busselton Mermaids has had an overwhelming amount of attention today with over 100 'Likes' on facebook and my photo of the little mer baby has been shared in Germany, Finland, Mexico, India, US and many more! Are you still buying retired tails? I have a hand-painted neoprene tail that I'm trying to move. It doesn't stretch very well and there isn't a monofin, but I worked really hard (3 full days!!) painting it and hate to see it just sit in the corner collecting dust. Let me know soon if you are interested and I will get pictures and measurements. I really love this idea!

Making a heart breaking executive decision today. Though I am so in love with the tail. It just isnt going to work out.... Reasons?
1.) It is 33 pounds of pure silicone. I Simply dont have the strength to maneuver this tail around. IT IS neutral underwater however.
2.) Despite my stretches I have been doing, it still REFUSES to smooth out.
That being said, I am going to sell it. I want to be able to get what I paid for it. Since I never actually had a chance to use it, the condition in which it was bought remains the same.
It is a Mertailor tail. It was bought USED by me (however remains unused as I never got the chance to use it)
MEASUREMENTS: Waist: 23-24 inch; Butt; 29-30 inch; Waist to Floor; 38-40 inch; Shoe: 6-7 Woman.
Mind you this was NOT an easy decision to make. It's a beautiful tail and very close to my heart, it's just not what I need/able to work with. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE MESSAGE ME. I WILL ONLY BE TAKING SERIOUS BUYERS. Thank you.

Fifi yours are if a much higher quality, I wouldn't be too worried. It's really frustrating and a crappy thing for her to do but she can't hold a candle to you. Me and Jess still really want to come down and meet up with you when it gets a little warmer and maybe with a few photos of our THREE FinFolk tails together we will russel up a bit more publicity for you and she won't know what hit her mwahahahaha (insert evil laugh here) haha ;)

Remember this tail I purchased back in Jan? Well the fluke on this tail has always looked a little messy so it went under the knife today and has come out looking so much better!
