Has anyone done professional mermaiding for charter boats or adventure cruises?

As far as I know, nobody has, but my dad is a charter guide and I'm not sure how it could be done. :P

well.
Does the boat have an inbuilt pool?
That's the only way it could function imo.

The main way I could see it is have it set up for the boat to ride by an island where a mermaid was sitting, to have a sort of tourist-y set up for the boat. Advertise it as a mermaid sighting, or don't at all. I think they mean just asking if anyone has been hired to do anything like that, which I don't think is true. I can't see anyone paying the price that's necessary for a charter boat like my dad's to do something like that, but if it were done on a larger scale then it might be possible.

This is of no help, but I had a Barbie book where they dressed as mermaids and did shows for a friends glass bottom boat to bring more customers to the reef... XD I always thought that was completely awesome. haha!

No, this is a fine idea if the boat does have a glass bottom and cruises in a smaller, designated area.
I thought of this myself- there was a glass bottom boat on Lake Constance looking for a way to spice up the muddy, empty pea soup of lake water, and it would have been cool to mermaid for them.
However, they went with projecting cg images to make the otherwise dull journey more lively :P
Lake Constance is too cold for mermaiding anyway.
At least for me lol.

Ive done a few private charter days as a mermaid - usually its tied in with my dive work ... if we have a group charter a boat for diving/ snorkelling we offer them pictures with a mermaid while diving or snorkelling etc - tying it in with diving seems to work nicely .. you dot even have to be the diver - maybe contact some local dive shops and see if they would like to offer mermaid experiences as an extra to their customers?

Thank you Mermaid Melanie. That is kind of like what I was thinking.
In Florida adventure cruises are pretty popular. It is basically a bunch of adults on a boat for a few hours drinking. Some of them have live music and can be a lot of fun.
