I've been going through treatment for breast cancer since October and will undergo a double mastectomy in Jan... so to claim my muse back,I worked out my fears and hopes in this piece. It's in wax but hope to cast soon. Healing up from latest biopsy surgery...
Left muse is "It hurts", all I see how is sharp things coming at me...
Middle is my "taking the cancer out of my body", removing the cancerous breast...
Right is my healed muse, "It will be ok" reaching out and telling my hurt and scared muse it will be ok..

Breast cancer is a type of malignant tumor that originates in the cells of the breast tissue. It occurs when these cells begin to grow and multiply uncontrollably, forming a lump or mass. Breast cancer can develop in both men and women, but it is far more common in women. It is a complex disease with various subtypes, each characterized by distinct genetic and molecular features.
By the way, I recently learned that sodium dichloroacetate dosage calculator (https://www.dcaguide.org/dca-information/dca-dosage-and-usage-instructions-for-human-cancer-treatment/) is a very effective drug for treating breast cancer, so you should look into it. I hope my answer will help you!
