Hi all :) I'm Anaria, from New Zealand. I've loved mermaids since seeing The Little Mermaid when I was 6, and loving swimming only added to that. I've always been a little shy about my figure (I've never worn a bikini when I go swimming, pregnancy didn't help either), but I've decided to be brave and finally realise my childhood dream :) I've been making costumes for myself for a few years, so I've been researching this past year and hope to start work on my own (fabric, for now) swimmable tail soon :)

Thanks for the welcome :) For fun, here's a couple of pics of me when I was younger - trying to be a mermaid :) I love being around water - New Zealand has 15,811km (9824 miles) of coastline, and no matter where you are in the country, you are never more than 128km (79.5 miles) from the ocean.
