Hello! I'm mermouse, although on other internet venues I tend to go by Cake. I'm 24, I live in Corvallis, OR, and I'm just "dipping my toes" (ha ha. ha) into this sort of thing. I'm still working on familiarizing myself with the swimming resources in my area, getting a monofin so that I can learn whether I can swim with one at all, etc. I am a total beginner, but I'm hoping to learn fast.
Since I'm on the heavier side, I'd be super-interested in networking with any plus-sized mermaids on here and seeing what sort of resources there are! I realize that many fin-makers go by custom measurements, but those don't always give an accurate picture of the body and how it moves and squashes and stuff.
I also like dolls and nail polish. There are some nail polishes out there that it would be absolutely amazing to have translate to a tail.
