Dinglehopper and candlebra

[Mermaid Crystal Shimmer]

So a few weeks ago I made a dinglehopper with an antique fork (From 1908!) I loved the original fork design, and the whole collection of the silverware, so I decided to make the whole candlebra with the dinglehopper being removable.
It's quite expensive since the silverware doesn't come cheap, but I really like the end result. Instead of the grey/silver look from the original movie, I decided to go with aged gold.
(The dinglehopper has several layers of clear coats so it should be water resistant)

I'm quite proud of the result. (and if interested, I could make these to order, although they aren't cheap)

A dinglehopper as pictured would be around 70 dollars. The whole set about 275 dollars. It all depends on the silverware available and for what price I can find it. Since the original knife was way too expensive I bought a butter knife instead. I could make it with different (cheaper) silverware... It all depends on what you want ^_^

Next month when I have money again I'll try to make a snarfblat. I'm currently working on some bracers with little fins attached. I'll be making them with liquid latex and have no idea if it will work >.< As soon as I have results I'll post them here.

Candlebra from a thriftstore. (Was a lucky find =) ) And silverware through etsy. Ebay also has a few of them, but I found the cheapest on etsy. =)

I'm shopping for cheaper forks. Found a complete silverware set for a nice price today. Now all I need is a cheap candle bra and I can offer a complete set for a better price. =)
