As quoted from Jesse on facebook:

Friends and fans. Remember this tail? Well, I am parting with it mainly because it is now too small for me, and the Rapid monofin hurts my feet.

The tail was made in 2007 by The Mertailor. I have taken excellent care of it, and it looks like it did the day I received it. It has been in sea water and chlorine water only once each, other than that it was in fresh water springs or lakes. There is no sign of mildew, but does have a couple scrapes on the fluke from the pool. Orange sharpie was used to help hide the scrapes. It has a neoprene like backing so it has little stretch. I cut 2 holes along the edge of the fluke to allow water to escape, but are not obvious.

Waist............. 36
Waist to hip.....11
Hip...................39
Hip to knee.......12.5
Knee to ankle....20
Ankle................18

I am asking $300 for it.

It comes with a built in rapid monofin.

Raina's personal note: I believe this tail was made BEFORE the epidemic of alex plus and neoPRIN. Don't quote me on it, but I believe it predates all that.

Looks like it has the "bubble fluke" problem that yours had Raina.

I'm a newbie mer. :T Not even sure if a woman can wear a tail made for a man.

Well, the measurements up there are in inches, so there shouldn't be much difference in sizing. If your waist is 30 inches, and the tail is a 36, it's going to be way too big for you in all likely hood. At least at the waist.

You're right. Well, I hope it goes to a good home. :)
Thanks for the help~

Raina is correct. The tail is one of the first realistic tails from Eric.

Some of you got to see the tail at MerFest, and KNOW it is in excellent condition.

It has sewn seams, so one could take the tail in. However, I can not.

I paid close to $600 for this tail in 2007, and only asking $300 for it because of it's excellent condition. Honestly, I would like $400 for it, but I will take $300 plus shipping.

Let me know. This tail needs to be sold, ASAP.

$300 plus shipping.

I could do $400 total with the shipping included to Australia zip code 6280? :)

Could the waist be taken in a little?

This tail is still available.

I do not control shipping prices. Shipping to Australia may be more than $100.

The tail can be taken in, however I won't be the one doing that. I am sure a seamstress can do it with no problem.

Could you find out the shipping cost to Australia zip code 6280 and if it's more than $100 I will have to pass :)

$380 to ship it to Australia.

That means with your offer, I would get $20 of the $300 that I want for the tail.

I want $300 and I am firm about this. I paid nearly $600 for this tail, and the fact that I have taken such great care of it makes it worth more than what I am asking.

It is possible for the buyer to repaint it.
