Since we were clobbered with tremendous snowfall, I decided to unleash my inner child after shoveling the driveway and made a snow angel. Then I had an idea: snow merfolk! I jumped up, took a sideways hop, and laid myself down in the snow, making sure to sink my head and arms straight down and holding my legs firmly into the snow to remove the ridge between them. Then I sat up, scooched my butt down to increase the length of the tail, and used my arms to make the angel-esque fan of the flukes. For extra definition, I stood up and used my boot print repeatedly to make fins over the flukes. Voila! A snow merman!
Has anyone else done this? Or has anyone made a snowman-esque snow mer (sculpted out of snow, rather than formed by impression)?
