I saw that on Deep Sea News... it's a pretty rare occurrence, and I imagine that such miscarried marine fetuses simply don't make it to shore. It's amazing nothing ate the corpses on the way in to shore.

It's fascinating....and amazing that the mom managed to deliver them. I've never seen or heard of conjoined whales before, but you're right......it's likely that the majority of them that are delivered are eaten by other creatures before we ever see them
