names are Late and Jontte, which are finnish male nicknames, in english I think it's Larry and Johnny lol. When I was shopping for my first car I was wondering/joking out loud to my friend when looking at one wv beetle whether Late and Jontte would fit in the backseat. The seller heard me and replied "sure! I bet there is room for two little boys!" "...yeah um.. they are cats"
I don't wanna know what he thought of me

I have five cats :) here are pics of two of them for now!

I have Fuzzball (the tiny white one!)

holly berry(fuzzball's mommy! All of the other kittens in the litter died :( ) holly was born on Christmas Day, hence the name holly berry! ***Not Halle Berry! ;)

Sorry the pictures are fuzzy! It's all I have on my iPad!

Holy Carp :jawdrop: the others all died? How horrible!

Fuzzball looks a lot like my smaller one.
I don't let them out though, much too dangerous.

It was really sad :(

holly's mom was a bad mother and abandoned/rejected her at a young age.....so holly never learned how to be a good mommy herself. I guess she was lacking that instinct at first. She had five kittens all over the yard....she didn't know what was happening and completely freaked out, was screaming in pain and tried to bite me(something she NEVER does). I helped her the best that I could and put her kittens in a box under the deck in a safe place. She just kept moving them though. When I finally found them again, she had left them under a tarp and it was a really hot day. She hadn't fed them at all. The other four had all died from dehydration and Fuzzball was almost dead herself :( I brought Fuzzball inside and dripped water in her mouth....a little all day long. I really found her just in time....she was so limp and weak....it's such a miracle that she survived.

when I was burying the other kittens, holly came to see what I was doing and tried to take the kittens away....she didn't realize they were gone. I think her instinct finally started to kick in because when I gave her Fuzzball back, she was a great mommy and took good care of her.

I really wish I could keep my cats inside, but last time I tried, they hated it. They literally cried at the door all day and climbed the windows trying to get outside (they broke all the blinds in the house!) i didn't understand this at first.....but I think they are just too used to their freedom....I used to live on a farm in the middle of nowhere and they were perfectly safe running outside all day and that was all they ever knew.....chasing squirrels...catching mice....(i have way too many presents left on my doorstep!) I worry about them with the traffic on my road, but I know they're happier outside and are where they want to be :)

When I was little...maybe six or seven, I wanted to name my kitten Fuzzball....but my mom wouldn't let me! She thought it was a silly name. I told her that when I grew up I was going to have a cat named Fuzzball and now I do! :) she still thinks it's silly though!

I have two fur-children - Keyara and Bebe. Here is a picture of the two of them together. (It is not letting me add the image directly, so I have a link to my photobucket library)

Keyara is a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat, with a black chin. She weighs about 18 pounds! I think she is about 8 years old.

Bebe (pronounced 'bee-bee', not 'bay-bay', and she is as fast as a beebee shot from a gun!) is much smaller, about 8 pounds, and all black except for a white spot on her chest, a white spot in each armpit, and a white spot on her tummy between her back legs. She is about 6 years old.

That's such a sad story Jessica.
At least Fuzzy survived :)

I'm fortunate in that my two are quite content inside (2 roads with traffic, millions of aggressive cats and dogs).

When they're bored, there's always someone to play with them, and if they want to, I take them out on my arm or lap.
They usually sit there happily, but want to go back in after a short while, especially when it's cold :p

My two are indoor cats, but they were brought up that way. So no worries about them wanting to go out! We have a closed in front porch, so they will go and sit out there and look out the windows, but they don't try to get out the door.

I think it makes a big difference when kittens are kept indoors. I think if my cats had been inside when they were little, then they would be happy inside now.

There are so many cute kitties on here! It is kind of funny though....so many of us are cat loving mermaids.........and cats generally don't like water! :)

It's probably just that some things appeal to women generally-
cats, mermaids, unicorns, fairies, pretty dresses :p
while guys often like football, beer and cars.

YES it's a stereotype, but some stereotypes have a point.
Of all the men I know iRL, only two like cats and dance and are avid swimmers, and they're both gay.
So there

Before I had to move I had two of the most gorgeous perfect adorable wonderful (you get the pic 'mine' lol) cats. One was all black with a shorter tail and one was white with spots of brown tabby, both males. They both loved hanging around me and we each had our own place on the chair, I would sit in the middle of course, and the one would always be on his arm of the chair and the other on his. We all had our places on the bed and during dinner they knew not to bother me. :p

Different cats have different meows. The cat in the pic doesn't meow..he has like this really annoying yowl. It's normal. =]
