I've always been a mermaid - now it's time to bring it out :)

Hello everyone! Like many of you, I dreamt about being a mermaid since I was a small child. Now I'm older, but the dream hasn't gone away. I'm still working on my own persona and other things, and I'm looking forward to learning and contributing to these forums. When I'm not near the water, I love creating artwork (digital, or multimedia primarily!), reading comic books, photography(current fav: the photo I took of Mermaid Raven [Merbellas Studios] as my avatar), reading (currently on the second A Song of Ice and Fire books!), and wresting my weiner dog!

I started the first season of the show recently since I'm done with the first book - it's definitely a good show, but pretty much anything made from a book won't be as good as the book. I'm enjoying it a lot. & haha it is certainly nice to be swimming on Christmas & New Years Day while all my northern friends were covered in snow - boy were they jealous. I didn't grow up here, though, and I do kind of miss the cold weather..... but then I go to one of our lovely beaches and forget why I miss it!
