Hello everyone,

I'm considering purchasing a used car and wanted to do a thorough history check. I’m a bit unsure about what specific details I should be looking for in the report to ensure I’m making a safe investment.

I know checking for past accidents, service records, and any potential title issues is important, but are there any red flags or additional information I should be paying attention to? Any advice on how to interpret the report or tips for confirming the car's history would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

When checking a car history report, make sure there are no major accidents, title issues, or odometer discrepancies. Look for consistent service records, especially for critical components like the engine and brakes. If unsure, consider using Carvins (https://www.carvins.net/) for extra verification. Be cautious of frequent ownership changes and always get a mechanic’s inspection before buying.
