Mermaid Melody Luchia Cosplay :D

I am planning this year to cosplay Luchia from Mermaid melody if anyone has heard of that anime?
I am no sewing seamstress I'll be honest with you I will probably have it comissioned the main body of the costume but the little things like accessories I will be making myself well attempt ^^ so when I start this project I will keep you up to date on everything haha ^^ Im excited :D

That will be fun! I can't wait to see it! I make costumes as well, but since my current sewing machine is a one-trick pony, I am afraid of breaking it :(

Words of wisdom: Petticoats. As in multiples. They will help achieve that "defying gravity" anime skirt :P

I wore... 4? 5? ... when I threw a Steampunk Ball a while back, but I still felt like I was not poofy enough. Anime gives me ridiculous self-imposed standards, haha!

Oh my gosh, that was one of my favorite animes when I was younger! :D I used to want to cosplay Luchia, but I was no seamstress and there really weren't any available online.

I did Coco together with a friend as Luchia a few years ago. As we use a full circle skirt we didn't use any petticoats.

I'm doing Hanon for Phoenix comicon this year! I'm doing a lot of magical girls for that con haha (my line up is : Kid Loki, Idol Hanon, Sailor Chibi Moon [ We actually have a full sailor moon group])

I totally forgot I made this post which this cosplay never happened due to unforseen things but I have a made a mini start on planning this cosplay this year seems like the time do it as mermaids seemed to be on my brain a lot more so stay tuned !!!:)
