Making a monofin for tail

Hello fellow mers!

Its time to start with my very very very first tail. I am soooo excited!!! ^_^
I am currently making a monofin try-out thing out of cardboard and ducttape. I made a floppy ducttape mold for the pocket and i am going to fill it with plaster for a real footcast. After that i will coat it with latex or silicone. Stay tuned for updates!

I'm actually really interested as to how this will turn out.The tricky part is getting enough flex to propel, but not break.
