If a child asked you (a Mermaid or Merman) what your favorite thing to eat was, what kind of clever answers would you come up with? It's okay if many of you have the same idea.

As an older merman, I have been known to enjoy a nice inkwine served with chunks of sweetsponge, though a nice meal of blue lobster and urchin served on a bed of red seaweed would be nice. As a nightcap, on occasion I have been known to indulge in dreamfish.

Seaweed salad! I actually really love the the hezmana out of some seaweed salad... :D

And, if they are not too sensitive about Disney-fied talking fish... I eat lots of fish as well (both in mersona and IRL)

OH GOSH YES OYSTERS

My mer-tender won over my mom when we went out to eat at a buffet (they had all-you-can-eat oysters that were really fresh)... He "garnished" a plate of them for mewith the perfect combo of toppings, my mom tried one and tried to nicely demand that he must make her some :P She had just gotten in an accident and was having trouble moving around, so he kept bringing her plates of them all night.

Seaweed salad sounds good! Everyone in my family likes nori but my friends think it's weird (my cat likes nori too) but then again, I also like frog legs, escargot, sushi and baby octopus aka cala mari. :) I love sushi soooo much, I made a sushi necklace and miniature sushi for dolls. Oh, I need to make an I <3 sushi t-shirt, I'll have to put it next to my I <3 bacon t-shirt.
