Apologies to the lovely mods if this manner of thread is already alive somewhere on the forums!
I think we should start a thread of our mermaid/ocean/water/etc inspired artwork (asides from the tails themselves).
Here are a few of my pieces featuring the southern resident orcas that I spend half the year with~

I did this piece after witnessing J49 "T'ilem I'nges" just after his birth, a very rare moment to experience. His entire family came together and was holding him up at the surface, which sounds crazy but I saw it for myself. I am very privileged to have experienced an "orca baby shower".
