Does anyone just go out like weekly or once a month or even do something at home? What do you do? I've started eating healthier and working out more, but every Sunday I plan on doing a hair mask, face thing, and a nice salt bath.. Seriously every-mer needs her a nice ol' salt bath!

I always add a bit of sea salt to my bath. Not even enough to taste, just enough to soften the water. My city's water is so hard it feels sticky. If I'm feeling particularly sore, I add some Epsom salt in too. I really should have a designated spa day where I do hair, skin and nails...

Irish Pub for my wife and I, tonight. Kills the diet but sometimes you gotta go for it.

I have never tried sea salt to a bath. I have a very dry foot, would that help my foot by chance?

Every day after school I walk the neighborhood, on the weekends I go to the gym and run the treadmills, and when the pool opens ill return to my regular schedule of swimming laps in the pool and will practice with my monofin adding weights each day to build up my strength

in thailand we have massage places everywhere ( not all offer happy endings - a lot are very good ) so once a month i try to go get an oil massage and a really amazing honey and cucumber facial then go to the hair salon for a conditioning treatment and when i come out my hair feels like silk ... normally its one big dreadlock when i finish work lol
Salt scrubs! I love making salt or sugar scrubs, and it helps with dry skin as well :) I have plans to make a seaweed-based scrub soon as well! It supposedly has all sorts of goodies for your skin in it :D
Also, I love to oil cleanse my face, it's sooo relaxing. And hot oil treatments on my hair every once in a while to pamper it because I really do mistreat it sometimes...

how will salt effect the hair though?
I actually used really strong salt water on my dreadlocks (when I had them). Salt's fine for hair, you just have to rinse it out well (and sometimes condition if you'd like, hot oil treatments yay!).

Usually I swim in saltwater twice a week (on break atm because of an operation).
I also regularly do sauna for health reasons.
Can only recommend it.

I don't take baths. Mom won't allow it since it wastes water and kills hydro bills.
I do however have hair masks and deep conditioning 2-3 times a week since my hair is dried out at the tips. I have a morning Facial routine that i usually switch up, and i have a bedtime facial routine

I don't know if any of you shop at Lush, but I'm a total Lushie! I love getting fancy bath stuff there. A good spa day makes me feel so much better!

I actually had my first Lush bath <3
LUSH OMG. I got a couple of products as gifts once, and I've been carefully hoarding them since. They are my absolute favorite brand of anything ever. I can't wait till I have the money and can actually order some of my own (I've made 2 bath bomb bars and a solid perfume last several years; the lip balm was gone ages ago :P ).

LUSH!!!!!!!! I LOVE their products Christmas for me consisted of a super lush hoard! :yay: Their fresh facial masks are great if you can get them!! They even have a ocean themed line of products with sea-salt and seaweed. It is a serious pick-me-up during these dreary winter months......

I just looked up Lush because I was not familiar with them and they do look great. I just saw one hair conditioner with coconut oil and SALT!! So apparently sea salt is not all bad for the hair ?

I do recall hearing that salt attracts water. However I would see that as it sucking the moisture out of the hair to itself. But wow.. It would be interesting to hear reviews of how a salt conditioner works on dry hair

I had only one bath bomb for now (the blue one with salth and seaweed) and can't wait to try more of their products! Sadly, my nearest Lush shop is moving and I'll have to wait until Feb 21 before they re-open.

I take Epsom salt baths on a regular basis- it has SO many good effects, but for me it's mostly for my nerve pain issues. I use doTERRA oils for all kinds of good health stuff, but sometimes it's great to whip up something special, like a face mask :) I use coconut oil for my skin and hair. Trying to do a coconut and argon oil mask once a week.
For DIY pampering baths, Epsom salt and essential oils are good. Rose water is sooo great for that too! The food grade stuff is like $2 a bottle. My favorite combo is salts, rose water, and lavender EO! You can also use rose water for a ton of Diy beauty stuff! Some people swear by it as a skin rinse.
I love Lush, but purchases are a treat. Their dry shampoo saves my hair color :) I use a hair mask from them every 4 months or so whenever I can spurge. Hubby gifted me some bath bombs, and I loved them so much! But now I'm hooked but can't afford my fix ;) lol However I found lots of DIY bath bomb recipes online an may do that! :D
I always do my own nails, but when I do I do the whole shebang so I feel pampered. Foot soak, all the trimming filing and buffing, some good brand polish -cause otherwise it will come off next day cause my nails like to mock me haha. 2 coats base, 2 color, top coat. Then a nice lotion with skin-good stuff :) Takes an hour so I sit down with a favorite tv show. Good stuff! Just something about having pretty nails make me happy inside. I always have thought that nail polish is so happy, and is something small to smile about.
Only had a massage twice in my life, sadly. Professionals say I really need regular chiro and massage for my issues. Hoping for more gigs so I can start that for myself ^_^
