Hi there everyone! My name is Nicole and I'm 23, my middle name is Nemecia, which I think kinda has a nice flow to it for a pseudonym ^_^

I actually joined a few weeks ago and have been feverishly reading tutorials, my best friend and I are hoping to embark on our tail making adventure soon using neoprene as our medium and I've successfully crafted my first Lion's Paw shell bra much to my elation.

I went to school for Technical Theatre with a focus in costuming and graduated just this past year. I started cosplaying when I was 16 after first performing at Anime Expo the year prior as part of a martial arts half time show for the Masquerade that year, my parents have owned a martial arts and kickboxing gym since I was a little 2 year old with ringlets. Besides martial arts, sewing, and cosplay I also used to perform with a Polynesian dance troup out here and still try to make time to dance when I can since its so much fun :) Currently I work full time as an account manager with a production company but I still like to pick up seasonal jobs here and there, I've worked at Halloween events before and am currently a performer at the Southern Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale. I look forward to sharing my crafting adventures with you all ^_^

HI! I'm new too! I'm also in SoCal, east of San Diego. What do you do as a performer at the Pleasure Faire?

I haven't been in a few years, I liked it better when it was at the Glen Helen Pavilion. I currently love going to the faire in Escondido. (cheaper too) It's very small though and only 4 weekends/year (spring & fall), so I can understand if folks don't like it as much as the Pleasure Faire.

I work with a group called Fantastikals, basically we're the fae, kids, crazies, and drunks can see us, generally not adults. We're atmospheric characters that don't talk but we wander around and be. I myself play a dragon faerie. Its a whole lot of fun :)

I have pictures of you (I think)! How fun! Climbing around in the trees and such? If so, then I've totally seen you there! Small world! :D
